I am Jessi, and Qi Studio is my practice. I design and build websites for businesses that need one built around a specific audience rather than assembled from a template, and I handle the whole of it: the research, the design, the build and the search groundwork underneath.
Why I start with your customers
I trained in psychology and interaction design, so every site I make is designed around how people decide to buy, book or get in touch. Before I look at your website, I want to know about the people arriving at it: who they are, what brought them and what stands between them and the thing you need them to do.
Everything after that follows from the answer. A site built for a general audience is built for nobody in particular, which is why templates always feel close but never quite right.
UX is the specialty
I have worked in UX since 2019, most recently as an end-to-end UX designer on web experiences at Spire Trading. Before I design a single page, I map the journey through the site: where someone enters, what they need to believe at each step, and the route to the action that matters to your business.
I set the conversion paths at that stage, then test them to make sure they hold up once real traffic arrives.
I build what I design
I build to my own designs, exactly. Because the work never changes hands between design and development, nothing gets approximated or quietly simplified on the way to the finished site.
It also means the SEO groundwork goes in while the pages are being built, which costs less and works better than retrofitting it once the site is live.
